Andrew HerbertWoodfin Architecture & Design is a full-service architecture and design firm with experience working on a wide range of projects, from large scale institutional and hospitality to smaller scale residential and retail.

Whenever possible, we love to spend time in the shop, experimenting with fabrication techniques. Our search for a better understanding of metalwork, joinery, and woodworking not only enlightens our design process, but gives us a chance to work alongside some of the best craftspeople and artists in New York.

Andrew-Herbert-at-work-bwAndrew studied at the University of Virginia and the University of Florida, where he was honored with several awards including the John W. Stovall Memorial Scholarship, Academic Achievement Award, Core Program Scholarship for Excellence. The team consisted of students from the School of Building Construction, Architecture, Interior Design and Marketing. Andrew also spent a semester studying abroad in Vicenza, Italy, a city best known as the home of Antonio Palladio. Amongst the many unforgettable experiences there, Andrew studied under Giovanni Traverso, a gifted Italian Architect and Lighting Designer.
